Text-based / participatory / publication

This publication brings together a series of micro-texts shaped through collective writing and translation across multiple languages.

Originating from fragments of German literary texts, the poems unfold through successive reinterpretations by different groups, moving between Latvian, Russian, German, and English. Across these shifts, meaning is continuously displaced and re-formed.

The resulting works exist in a state of partial understanding, where language is approached from the outside; spoken, written, and transformed by those for whom it is not fully their own. Misreadings, gaps, and improvisations become integral to the text.
